About the Event

The Framework Planning Cycle

Facilitated by Rarni Rothwell

The revised Learning Framework for School Aged Care – My Time, Our Place V2.0 is an exciting opportunity for OSHC services to enrich their program and practice. The improved version of the framework continues to equip educators with the knowledge and skills they need to implement a quality play-based program focused on wellbeing, learning and development of children and young people. The inclusion of a planning cycle into this source document acts to scaffold OSHC educators in this important curriculum work. This session will unpack this significant change to MTOP and develop a deeper understanding of the five-step cycle of planning, and the opportunities it presents for your practice. It will cover:

  • OBSERVE / Listen / Collect information

  • ASSESS / Analyse / Interpret learning

  • PLAN / Design
