Approved Provider Responsibilities For Community, Parent and Volunteer Managed Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) 2025

Effective management and governance practices are an essential aspect of a service’s quality and compliance. For many parent and community managed OSHC providers the specifics of being an approved education and care service can be a novel responsibility. It is paramount for the Approved Provider to establish a sound understanding of the rules, requirements and best practices for managing an OSHC service. This knowledge is the basis for operating a compliant, safe and quality education and care service for children, and becomes the platform to build exceptional quality for the school community.
